  • Your privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost importance at Embodied Psychiatry. Each provider maintains their own secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) system.

These systems ensure that records are encrypted, password-protected, and accessible only to your provider. All providers adhere to state and federal privacy regulations and uphold the highest standards of ethical and legal care.

  • Medication management at Embodied Psychiatry is a collaborative, thoughtful process designed to support your overall mental health and wellbeing through the careful use of psychiatric medications.

Prescribing providers work closely with you to understand your history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Together, you'll explore whether medication may be helpful as part of your care, review potential benefits and side effects, and make decisions that align with your values and preferences.

Medication management may include ongoing evaluation, education, and dosage adjustments to ensure care feels informed, balanced, and supportive. At Embodied Psychiatry, medication is viewed as one tool among many—used intentionally and often in combination with therapy and holistic support to promote long-term wellness.

  • Experiential and ketamine-assisted therapies are integrative approaches that combine psychotherapy with experiential or psychedelic-assisted modalities to support deep emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and expanded self-awareness.

Experiential therapy may include guided somatic work, breathwork, or mindfulness-based practices that allow insight and emotional processing beyond traditional talk therapy.

Ketamine-assisted therapy (KAT) involves the clinical use of ketamine in a controlled setting to help alleviate symptoms of depression, trauma, anxiety, and other conditions. Under the care of trained, licensed clinicians, ketamine can temporarily soften rigid thought patterns, creating space for deeper emotional processing and therapeutic insight.

At Embodied Psychiatry, these treatments are facilitated by trauma-informed professionals who integrate preparation, guided experience, and post-session integration to ensure care is safe, intentional, and restorative.

  • Psychotherapy—often called "talk therapy"—is a collaborative process between you and a trained mental-health professional designed to help you better understand yourself, process life experiences, and develop tools for growth and change.

At Embodied Psychiatry, psychotherapy is more than conversation. It is an intentional space for reflection, healing, and reconnection. Providers draw from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, somatic, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed therapies to meet you where you are.

Through therapy, clients gain insight into patterns that may be contributing to distress, build emotional regulation skills, and move toward greater balance, authenticity, and alignment with their values.
