About Us

Embodied Psychiatry was founded by LaVeta Jarrett, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in psychiatric care, medication management, and ketamine-assisted therapy in Wichita, KS. LaVeta built Embodied Psychiatry on a simple but powerful belief: that mental health care should be ethical, collaborative, and rooted in deep respect for the whole person — not just the diagnosis.
